Field grade yelpers are individually turned from both exotic and
domestic woods with either delrin or horn mouthpieces. The
wood is not highly figured or has a limited amount that doesn't
make the next higher grade.
Premium Grade yelpers use highly figured exotic and domestic
woods and burls. They come with a choice polished horn or
ivory mouthpieces and bell caps. There is also the option of
some embellishments on the call body.
Collector grade yelpers are turned from stunningly figured
exotic, domestic woods or burls with legal ivory or mammoth
tusk ivory mouthpieces and bell caps. Embellishments can
include carving, inlays, gold, silver, or other materials that add to
the value of the call. There are a limited number of such calls
that I will produce in a year given the amount of time that goes
into each call.
